Dr. Cyndi Hill, PT, DPT
Director of Operations
Ironically enough, my initial goal when I went to college was to get into the Communications field. After waking up every morning to my roommates’ anatomy poster, I became quite intrigued with the human body. I was interested in how it worked and how the therapy process facilitated healing after an injury. I enrolled for my first Anatomy class and I began my journey into the world of therapy and rehabilitation.
Along the way, I decided to venture into Occupational Therapy. I attended Harcum College and became an Occupational Therapy Assistant. I worked at Bryn Mawr Rehab (Malvern, PA) for about 8 years. I gained tremendous experience working with patients that had suffered strokes, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries or had elected to have their knee or hip replaced. I was also able to work with patients in the Day Treatment Program, addressing return to work or school issues.
After working side by side with the Physical Therapists for many years, my interest in the PT was renewed. I wanted to have the knowledge to diagnose and treat my patients and return them to their prior level of functioning. That is when I decided to return for my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Neumann University. Since graduating from school, I have found that I have varying areas of interest that include: Women’s Health issues (urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapsed, pregnancy and post-partum), post-surgical rehab (total knee/hip replacements, fractures, ACL repair, menisectomy) and sports related injuries.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I enjoy trying out new local restaurants, working out, reading a good book or checking out the latest movie. I also have two dogs, Nacho and Barkley, that I love to take to the dog park and spoil rotten.
