Hilary Sohn is a PA licensed massage therapist in practice since 2002. She is certified in traditional Swedish massage, medical massage, reflexology and aromatherapy, and has training in orthopedic techniques, myoskeletal alignment, craniosacral therapy and Gua Sha. Using an integrative approach that makes use of multiple massage modalities, Hilary tailors her massage sessions to best fit each person and their unique needs. Her approach brings clinical knowledge to a lay person’s level so that people understand why their bodies work and heal the way they do.
Hilary holds a B.S. in Psychology from Saint Joseph’s University, and an M.Ed. in Psychoeducational Processes from Temple University. Prior to becoming a massage therapist, Hilary worked as a corporate marketer for over seven years. In addition to practicing massage, Hilary also enjoys working as a fine artist using various media such as acrylic, watercolor, pencil, charcoal and pastels.
Hilary’s approach to bodywork integrates body, mind and spirit. She incorporates a unique practice she calls “bodytalk”, essentially acting as an interpreter for the body and what it may be trying to convey by bringing awareness to people of how the physical body can hold and exhibit mental and emotional strain and trauma. Her practice empowers people to take charge of their own health and well-being through knowledge, awareness and understanding of the total self.
Hilary is currently seeing clients on Wednesdays in our Chester Springs location from 12 – 6PM. Call us at (610) 458-6464 to schedule.
