Head Athletic Trainer
Malinda Dobbins, MS, LAT, ATC is an athletic trainer with Kinetic Physical Therapy. She is currently the Head Athletic Trainer at Lower Merion High School.
Malinda earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Delaware in May of 2015. She completed clinical rotations with the University of Delaware Volleyball team, University of Delaware Football team, University of Delaware Women’s Basketball team and St. Mark’s High School. It is at St. Mark’s High School that she realized her love of working with high school athletes.
After graduation, Malinda worked as a graduate assistant for Quakertown Community School District while obtaining her Master of Science in Athletic Training at East Stroudsburg University in May 2016. She then spent a year working as the assistant athletic trainer at Lower Merion High School, while also providing club sport coverage for Haverford College, Temple University and LaSalle University. She joined Kinetic Physical Therapy in the summer of 2017 and has taken on the head athletic trainer role at Lower Merion High School.
When not at work, Malinda enjoys spending time with her family and attending her many nieces’ and nephews’ extra-curricular activities. Other interests include coaching soccer and basketball and attending Philly sports events.
