Jamie Hosan, LAT, ATC

Jamie Hosan is an athletic trainer licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. She grew up in Flemington, New Jersey, playing a variety of recreational sports. Her combined interest in athletics and passion for serving others eventually led her to pursue a career in sports medicine as an athletic trainer. In May of 2015, Jamie obtained her undergraduate degree with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from West Chester University.

In the year that followed, Jamie volunteered as a research assistant at the Jefferson Comprehensive Concussion Center in Philadelphia before being hired full time in September of 2015. Her dual role as an athletic trainer and a neuropsychologist technician at the Concussion Center included: administering cognitive tests to patients with concussions, aiding in the understanding of concussion diagnosis and treatment through multiple research studies, and helping to educate coaches, parents and athletes about the importance of recognizing and reporting concussions. She also worked as a substitute athletic trainer for the Agnes Irwin School in Bryn Mawr, PA for several months in 2016.  Jamie joined the team at Kinetic Physical Therapy in July of 2016 as the Head Athletic Trainer for Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, PA.

Outside of work, Jamie enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, and playing ultimate Frisbee with her husband, Josh. Her favorite artists/bands include Ben Rector, Needtobreathe, The Oh Hello’s and Marian Hill. When free time allows, you can find her in a coffee shop, reading or posting pictures of her coffee to Instagram.
