Dr. Angelo Labrinakos
Director of Athletic Training Department

Dr. Angelo Labrinakos, PT, ATC, is an owner of Kinetic Physical Therapy, serves as the Director of Athletic Training Services and is a treating physical therapist in our Adolescence Sports Medicine Program (ASMP).

Angelo earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from West Chester University in May of 1997. He completed clinical rotations with the West Chester University Football team, West Chester University Men’s Basketball team and Owen J. Roberts High School. After graduation, Angelo worked for Commonwealth Orthopedic Associates (Reading, PA) as a physician extender for their orthopedic surgeons and was contracted to Daniel Boone School District for athletic training services. After providing exemplary care to its student-athletes and developing great relationships with the parents/coaches/faculty, Daniel Boone School District hired Angelo as their Head Athletic Trainer.

Angelo earned his Master of Physical Therapy in May of 2005, and his Doctor of Physical Therapy in December of 2006 from Neumann College. As a physical therapist, he has treated a wide variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries, with specific interest in athletic injuries (adolescent population), and musculoskeletal disorders of the spine. He looks to gain further expertise in manual therapy techniques and treatment of pediatric/adolescent concussions.

When not at work, Angelo enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Laura, their two beautiful daughters and their dog Sammy. Other interests include running Spartan Races and being a passionate Philadelphia sports fan (4 for 4!).
