Matt Sobolewski, PT
Clinic Director: Collegeville
I graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors from the University of Connecticut in 1995. My interest to pursue a career in Physical Therapy was in large part due to my heavy involvement in sports from an early age. I was a competitive swimmer and runner for many years and also enjoyed skiing, golf, tennis, baseball, and biking while growing up. Since graduating from Physical Therapy school, I have practiced primarily in the outpatient orthopaedic setting but also have experience with inpatient orthopaedics, trauma, and intensive rehabilitation. Although I have extensive experience treating all types of orthopaedic and neurological conditions, special areas of interest include post-surgical rehabilitation, knee and shoulder rehab, Pilates, and biomechanics of gait including fabrication of custom foot orthotics.
For several years of my career, I worked very closely with orthopaedic surgeons and other sports medicine physicians and have attended numerous orthopaedic seminars while employed by a large hospital network. As a Physical Therapist, I derive great pleasure seeing my clients achieve the highest level of function possible. I am also a certified personal trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine. Currently, I maintain a very active lifestyle working out with weights and cardio machines on a regular basis. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, three children, and our black lab.
Matt Sobolewski has been with Kinetic Physical Therapy since March of 2007. To schedule an appointment with Matt please call our Chester Springs office at (610) 458-6464 or email him at mattsobo@kineticptpa.com.
