Dr. Matt Schildknecht, DPT
Clinic Director: Chester Springs
I graduated from Elizabethtown College in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Following 8 years of sales and marketing experience, I realized that the monotony & structure of “Corporate America” was not for me. I returned to school and earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Drexel University in 2006. Before joining Kinetic Physical Therapy, I worked for Paoli Hospital as a member of both the outpatient and inpatient orthopaedic teams. While at Paoli, I treated a variety of patients, including post-operative orthopaedic and patients in the Intensive and Cardiac Care Units. My special interests include rehabilitating athletic injuries, particularly of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle. I was the recipient of the 2006 Drexel University Musculoskeletal Award (top orthopaedic student), as well as the Entry Level Research and Scholarship Award for my study of scapular kinematics.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Carrie, and my daughters Sydney and Samantha. I am a true sports FAN-atic & enjoy playing flag football, basketball, & softball. I also passionately follow the New York Jets and the New York Yankees.
Matt has been with Kinetic Physical Therapy since April of 2008. If you would like to make an appointment with Matt please call our Chester Springs Clinic at (610) 458-6464 or email him at matts@kineticptpa.com.
